THE HERALD
NEWS: The imperial princess' disappearance in the days past has been announced to have been the cause of an illness which kept her abed. In celebration of the princess' restoration to good health a tournament is to be held.

The tournament will be held in two parts. The first will be the Trial by Might in which all those proficient in blade, bow, staff, or any other weaponry or form of combat may participate. The tournament is open to any any all who wish to enter. The tournament's winner will be named Imperial Champion and shall be permitted to request a boon of the imperial princess. All those who wish to register to enter the tournament must sign the registry held by the guard captain.


RUMORS: Those who pay attention the shadiest dealings and exchanges may discover word of those who mean ill to the empire entering the tournament so they might use the boon for their own unsavory ends. Along with this gossip is the rumor that the princess' illness was not natural based, but in fact that she was poisoned.

Question One. Does my character have to be human?
A. No! Characters can be any type of creature or being that you want.

Question Two. Does my character have to be from Terre de Conte?
A. No! They can be from the empire (nobility, merchants, knights, citizens, etc) but they can also be for other countries and lands as well. The princess' invitation was sent all over and widly talked about so even those from far away can have heard about it and come to the city.

Question Three. Does my character have to want to marry the princess?
A. No again! Your character can also be their for poliical reasons, just to enjoy the festivities. Maybe they were forced by their families to attend in order to build social connections! Or maybe their looking for consorts of their own! Any reason is acceptable.

Question Four. Does my character have to be royalty or a noble?
A. Absolutely not. Your character can be from an social class that you want. You can ever play servants who work in the castle or even slaves that are being sold in the city. There are tons of possibilites.

Question Five. If my character is a servant, can they go to the balls?
A. Not unless they are the escort of one of the formal guests. Regular citizens are allowed to attend freely, but servants must be invited.

Question Six. Where can my character live?
A. If your character is a servant they will live in the servant's quarters. If they're a guest at the castle they will stay in rooms in either the east or west wings. Once you've created your character you should send a PM to the admin with which part of the palace you wish your character to live in. Once you do a sub-board will be made for you and you and characters who go to your character's rooms will be able to make posts on it just like any of the other boards. In special cases your character may be allowed to life in the city, however this is only in special cases. If you think that your character should live in the city rather then right in the castle then we can discuss it.

Question Seven. Can my character share a room with another character?
A. Of course, as long as both players consent to it. If you wish to have your character share a room with another, just include that information in the PM you send to the admin after you post your character sheet.

Question Eight. Can I start threads that are in the east wing, west wing, or servants wing but are not in anyone's room?
A. Sure! Remember it's a whole wing, so while there are individual rooms in the form of sub-boards you can also start threads on the main boards where your character is wandering the halls of that wing or looking out the windows or admiring the art on the walls,etc.

Question Nine. Can my site be affiliates with Sapphis Castle?
A. As long as it is shoujo-ai (yuri, f/f, etc) or rpg related then absolutely! Just PM the admin with a link to the site and a banner (no bigger then 115x50 in size).
